Groote Eylandt is around 650 kilometres east of Darwin in the Gulf of Carpentaria, about 50 kilometres off the eastern coast of Arnhem Land.
Why it’s a Fishing Mecca
It’s isolated: zero pressure from commercial fishing operators and virtually none from recreational anglers mean fish stocks around Groote are incredibly healthy.
Where We Fish
Surrounding the lodge is some 300 square kilometres of prime, virtually unfished water. Four main areas cater for every angling experience: reef, bluewater sportfishing, estuary and fly fishing.
